Looking for Instant Approval Credit Cards?

Not all credit card applications are the same.  Applying online is always faster than mailing a paper application.  This accounts for the rise of online applications.  The thing is that, not all online applications give instant credit approval.  In reality the vast majority do not give an instant decision; only a handful approve instantly.
Unless it is an emergency, finding a credit card that approves instantly shouldn't be a priority.  Why?  When you apply for a credit card online the information gets transferred in a few seconds.   The only drawback is that you were not notified a few moments after the application was sent whether it was approved or not.  If you do get approved you will receive the card in hand in just about the same time as an instant online application.
There is a benefit to waiting.  It gives the bank time to review the applicant a little more thoroughly.  For some applicants a more thorough evaluation yields a better result.  Sometime a person with okay credit will get approved easier if the application does not approve instantly.  Not only that a person has also a better chance of getting approved with a higher credit limit.  Instant decisions can lead to instant rejections.

What about Instant Approval for People Who have Less than Perfect Credit?

As surprising as this sounds it really doesn't matter.  If your credit score is too low to get approved for a traditional unsecured credit card you need to seek out a credit product that will work with you to improve your credit.  These cards typically charge fees, but they give an individual the opportunity to once again build positive credit history.  In this case most applications get instantly approved.  If you pay all the fees associated with these cards they will issue you a major credit card.  These companies work with individuals who have bankruptcies, unpaid medical bills, no credit, and the list goes on.  It doesn't matter how bad your credit is.  These cards cost money to get, but they help to get a person's financial life back on track.
